Pokemon Center Shibuya

The Pokémon Center in Shibuya, located on the sixth floor of Shibuya PARCO, is the most spectacular official Pokémon shop in Tokyo and a must-visit destination for fans of all ages. The most striking element is a holographic statue of Mewtwo almost two metres tall that changes colour in cycles of blue and purple light at the entrance. The shop offers a very wide selection of exclusive merchandise with the Shibuya and Parco branding: plush toys from 1.800 ¥, T-shirts from 3.500 ¥, badges from 550 ¥ and limited editions that sell out within days. A special attraction is the Pokémon Design Lab, where you can design and make your own personalised T-shirt (requires 1-2 hours' wait). The tax-free service is available for purchases over 5.000 ¥; bring your passport. Hours: 11:00 to 21:00. It is a five-minute walk from the Hachiko exit of Shibuya. Visit on a weekday morning to avoid queues.
