This website plan-japan.com (hereinafter, "the Site") is operated personally by its owner, with an electronic contact address available on the contact page. The Site is intended for users interested in planning trips to Japan.

2. Purpose and indicative nature

Plan Japan is a trip-planning tool that is strictly indicative in nature. The itineraries, cost estimates, distribution of nights and any other information generated by the planner are produced automatically based on the data entered by the user and on internal system parameters.

The Site does not guarantee the accuracy, currency or completeness of any price, fare, exchange rate or financial estimate shown. The real prices of flights, accommodation, transport and activities may differ significantly from those shown, and must always be verified with the official providers before making any reservation or financial outlay.

The EUR/JPY exchange rate used internally is a fixed reference value that may not reflect the real exchange rate at the time of the query.

3. Limitation of liability

The owner of the Site assumes no liability for:

Inaccuracies, errors or omissions in the prices, estimates or itineraries generated.
Financial losses, damages or inconveniences arising from the use of the information on the Site.
The availability, quality or conditions of third-party services (airlines, hotels, etc.) linked or referenced.
Changes in visa regulations, entry to the country or health requirements.
Interruptions or technical failures of the Site or its databases.
The content of the data entered by users in the planner.

Use of the Site and its planner implies acceptance that any booking, spending or travel decision is the sole responsibility of the user.

4. Public nature of shared itineraries

Itineraries generated in the planner can be saved and shared via a public link. Any shared itinerary is accessible by anyone who has the link, without authentication. The user is solely responsible for the personal or sensitive data they choose to include in the name or content of the itinerary. We recommend not entering personally identifiable information in the text fields of the planner.

The owner of the Site does not review the content of saved itineraries and is not responsible for the data entered by users. If you detect inappropriate content, you can report it through the contact page.

5. Intellectual property

The texts, images, design, source code and other content of the Site are the property of its owner or have been used under licence. Their reproduction, distribution or modification without express authorisation is prohibited, except for uses permitted by law.

Third-party logos (Klook, Google, etc.) belong to their respective owners and are mentioned solely for descriptive purposes.

6. Links to third parties

The Site contains links to third-party sites, in particular to Klook for accommodation searches. These links are informative in nature; the owner does not control or guarantee the content, availability or privacy policies of the linked sites. Some affiliate links may generate a commission for the Site at no additional cost to the user.

The collection and processing of usage data on the Site is governed by the Privacy and cookies policy, which includes detailed information about the cookies used, the use of Google AdSense for personalised advertising, international data transfers and the user's rights under the GDPR.
