Spa LaQua Tokyo Dome City

Tokyo · Tokyo Dome City · Onsen

An urban spa and onsen at Tokyo Dome; general admission from ~2.900 ¥, with several pools and saunas.

Spa LaQua is the urban spa par excellence of Tokyo: a natural hot-spring complex located in the heart of Tokyo Dome City, in Bunkyo. The water comes from a spring 1.700 metres deep and is rich in minerals, ideal for relaxing muscles and rejuvenating the skin. The facilities occupy several floors of the building and offer indoor and outdoor pools, saunas at different temperatures, volcanic-rock baths (bedrock baths) in the Healing Baden area, rest zones and several restaurants. The hours are almost continuous (from 11:00 to 9:00 the next day), perfect for a visit after a long day of sightseeing. General admission for adults is around 3.200 ¥ on weekdays; at weekends and on holidays it may rise a little more. Access is allowed with small covered tattoos, although large ones may be restricted in certain areas. Bring spare underwear or buy it there. The nearest station is Suidobashi (JR Chuo-Sobu and Toei Mita lines). An ideal plan to recover from the most intense days of sightseeing.
