Go-kart through the streets of Osaka

Touring Osaka at the wheel of a go-kart dressed as your favourite character is one of the most fun and different experiences in the city. This activity takes you through such iconic points as the neon of Dotonbori, the surroundings of Osaka Castle and the bustle of Namba, driving with normal traffic in karts approved for public roads, with automatic transmission, indicators and an adjustable seat, reaching up to around 60 km/h. An instructor guides the group and costumes are provided for the route, which depending on the package lasts between one and three hours. The price starts at around 8.000 ¥. The essential requirement is to present an international driving permit valid in Japan: for Spanish citizens, the international permit based on the 1949 Geneva Convention, plus the passport. The departure point is in the Nipponbashi area, near Den Den Town. It is advisable to book in advance and check the weather forecast, as the tours can be suspended in heavy rain. Bring comfortable clothes and, if you want, a camera secured to your body.
