Tombori Jazz Cruise

The Tombori Jazz Cruise is a singular night-time experience: a 40-minute cruise along the Dotonbori river aboard a boat while a professional jazz quartet plays live by your side. The repertoire includes classic jazz standards with a selection of popular Japanese songs, and passengers can accompany the musicians with tambourines and maracas handed out on board. As the music plays, the boat sails among the reflections of Dotonbori's neon in the water, passing under the illuminated bridges and in front of the famous Glico sign. It is a completely different and much more intimate way to see Dotonbori than the walk along the bank. The jazz cruise operates in a limited season, from April to November. Bookings are compulsory and are made by calling the operator Ipponmatsu Shipping or through online platforms. The boarding point is in Dotonbori, five minutes from Namba station (Yotsubashi line). Unlike the regular daytime cruise, this one is not included in the Osaka Amazing Pass. It is an especially romantic plan, recommended for couples or for those who want to say goodbye to Osaka in a memorable way.
